“Imminent completion”: 624 weeks later…

August 16, 1993: “Please note that this release is not yet completed and may not be for several more weeks.” Ok, so I was a bit off. (Note: A “release” was what we called a distribution in 1993.)

    Couple of questions:

    * Is this for people who are new to Linux or Power Users?

    * If it’s for newbies, why shoul one use this vs. Ubuntu?; If for
    power users, isn’t this concept somewhat similar to Gentoo.
